BI Engineer (Cognos & Tableau)
Job Summary
Working in a hybrid remote capacity, the full-time BI Engineer (Cognos & Tableau) will manage the full BI development lifecycle, serving as a technical subject matter expert for IBM Cognos Analytics and Tableau while enhancing reporting solutions for Medicaid data.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build new Cognos reports and Tableau dashboards based on business requirements
- Provide Cognos administration support, including user access, security, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and refine reporting solutions through feedback
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in developing and supporting enterprise business intelligence reports and dashboards
- 3+ years of experience with IBM Cognos Analytics and Tableau development
- 3+ years of experience writing and optimizing SQL for report development and data validation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1+ year of experience in Cognos administration activities such as security and user access
