BICSI RCDD Structured Cabling Manager

Job Summary

To architect and oversee the physical layer infrastructure for large-scale global delivery operations, the contract Structured Cabling Design DC Manager will design high-density fiber and copper network pathways, ensuring seamless integration with mechanical systems while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end structured cabling systems tailored for hyperscale and colocation environments
• Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure cable routing aligns with advanced thermal management systems
• Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and review contractor submittals to ensure design compliance

Required Qualifications

• Active BICSI RCDD certification is required
• 5+ years of experience in structured cabling design, with at least 2 years in hyperscale or enterprise data centers
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu
• Strong understanding of optical loss budgets and high-density interconnect architectures
• Knowledge of data center mechanical environments and their impact on HVAC efficiency
