Bilingual Call Center Underwriter

Job Summary

Managing underwriting tasks remotely, the full-time Bilingual Call Center Underwriter will review applications, analyze risk, and provide support to agents and clients regarding policy eligibility and coverage options.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process applications for personal lines coverage to determine eligibility and make risk selection decisions
• Serve as a subject matter expert for agents, providing guidance on policy forms, coverage options, and underwriting processes
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of underwriting tasks, including cancellations, reinstatements, and endorsements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred
• Three to five years of underwriting experience in Personal Lines, including homeowners
• General knowledge of insurance statutes, regulations, and policies
• Active 2-20 or 4-40 license, or industry designation such as CPCU or CIC preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
