Bilingual Home Retention Specialist
Job Summary
Focusing on early-stage delinquency, the full-time Bilingual Home Retention Outreach Specialist will manage inbound and outbound communications with borrowers, assess their situations, establish payment arrangements, and provide information on home-retention options, working onsite if located within 30 miles of Austin, TX or Santa Ana, CA, or remotely otherwise.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct outbound outreach and handle inbound calls regarding delinquent mortgage accounts
- Review account histories, assess reasons for delinquency, and establish payment commitments
- Educate borrowers on available payment-resolution options and refer them for additional assistance when necessary
Required qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- At least 1 year of recent experience with MSP in the mortgage industry
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Knowledge of mortgage default servicing and relevant regulations
- Ability to work a schedule that includes some Saturdays, with hours from 12pm-9pm CST
