Job Summary
To support a growing immigration law practice, the remote Bilingual Immigration Court Paralegal (English-Spanish) will manage case reviews, oversee team workflows, and implement process improvements while ensuring compliance with legal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Pre-Attorney and Post-Attorney Reviews of 12-15 case packages weekly, ensuring legal and formatting accuracy
- Assign and balance the team's caseload while maintaining a master deadline calendar
- Implement process improvements every two weeks to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in immigration law with direct case handling before the Immigration Court
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, fluent in speaking and writing (minimum B2 level)
- Prior experience supervising or coordinating paralegals or legal staff in remote settings
- Mastery of EOIR procedures, including various types of hearings and e-filing
- Ability to review and validate various legal motions related to immigration cases
