Job Summary
To support a growing customer service team, the full-time Bilingual Intake Specialist will gather and evaluate information from injured workers and employers regarding Workers' Compensation claims while working remotely on weekends from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM EDT.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate information from phone reports to determine the level and category of injury
- Perform accurate data entry of initial claims into the system from various communication channels
- Adhere to company procedures and state-mandated timeframes while verifying data for claims entry
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of medical terminology or medical office experience preferred
- Proactive and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
