Bilingual Personal Lines Underwriter
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Bilingual Personal Lines Underwriter will review and process applications for personal lines coverage, analyze risk selection decisions, and provide agent support, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review and process personal lines applications to determine eligibility and make risk selection decisions
- Serve as a subject matter expert for agents, providing guidance on policy forms and coverage options
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of underwriting tasks while maintaining compliance with standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred
- Three to five years of underwriting experience in Personal Lines, including homeowners
- General knowledge of insurance statutes, regulations, and policies
- Active 2-20 or 4-40 license, or industry designation such as CPCU or CIC preferred
- Strong knowledge of Property/Casualty insurance underwriting principles
