Job Summary
Working onsite or remotely, the full-time Bilingual Spanish Mortgage Collections Specialist will manage inbound and outbound communications with borrowers regarding delinquent mortgage accounts, focusing on early-stage delinquency and payment resolution.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct outbound borrower outreach and handle inbound calls related to delinquent mortgage accounts
- Establish and document payment commitments and educate borrowers on available payment-resolution options
- Accurately document borrower interactions and comply with company policies and federal regulations
Required qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- At least 1 year of recent experience with MSP in the mortgage industry
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Knowledge of FDCPA and mortgage servicing requirements
- Ability to work a schedule that includes some Saturdays, with hours from 12pm-9pm CST
