Billing Account Representative

Job Summary

Working primarily remotely with periodic office attendance in Binghamton, NY or Houston, TX, the full-time Billing Account Representative will manage billing, reconcile accounts, and administer services for Group Billing, Credit Union, and Individual clients while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Process billing, adjustments, and verifications, ensuring timely remitting and processing of payments
• Handle general service requests and confer with agents, payroll offices, and customers regarding service inquiries
• Manage Electronic Funds Transfer accounts and assist with departmental training and Call Center overflow during high volume times

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Customer Support
• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping required
• Associate's degree in Business or related field of study required
• Experience in the insurance industry or call center environment preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
