Billing Analyst Lead

Job Summary

To ensure operational excellence and quality oversight in Insurance Discovery billing functions, the remote Billing Analyst Lead will oversee contractor-based teams, manage billing operations, support customer needs, and drive performance improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily billing operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
• Support customer-facing needs by resolving issues and ensuring service delivery aligns with client expectations
• Conduct quality audits and analyze results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
• 4-7 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or Insurance Discovery billing
• Experience working with contractor or vendor-based teams preferred
• Strong background in quality assurance, auditing, or performance oversight
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
