Billing and Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

To enhance the efficiency of claims management, the full-time remote Billing and Coding Supervisor will oversee the denial management processes, supervise staff, and ensure effective communication with payers regarding claims.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervises and provides guidance to Billing Collection Representatives while collaborating with the Revenue Recovery Supervisor
• Ensures timely reimbursement by managing communication with payers about delayed, denied, and underpaid claims
• Prepares departmental reports on quality, productivity, and performance improvement for Revenue Cycle leaders

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in billing, coding, and compliance
• Experience in denials management and revenue enhancement opportunities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software
• Coding certification preferred
