Billing and Collections Director

Job Summary

To enhance billing revenue cycle workflows, the full-time remote Billing and Collections Director will manage billing and follow-up activities for all retained billing offices, ensuring compliance and operational excellence across insurance and self-pay accounts receivable.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee billing compliance and activities across the organization's geographic footprint
• Collaborate with clinics and departments to optimize financial performance and improve collections
• Drive strategies to reduce receivables and enhance the patient and provider experience

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Public Administration, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in accounts receivable management
• 8 years of leadership experience
• 5 years of experience in medical revenue cycle management
• Demonstrated experience managing billing follow-up and denial management processes
