Billing Reimbursement Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervising a remote billing team, the full-time Billing Reimbursement Supervisor will manage billing operations, ensure timely collections, and develop departmental procedures while fostering team development and adherence to policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the billing team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and compliance with organizational standards
• Manage workflow to meet deadlines while supporting maximum reimbursement through effective billing and collections
• Conduct team meetings and provide coaching to enhance team performance and facilitate continuous learning

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Medical Billing/Revenue Cycle, preferably with laboratory billing
• High School diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
• Knowledge of business processes, accounting principles, and medical billing practices
• Experience with Commercial Insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and HMO billing
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and medical billing software; experience with Telcor/XIFIN is a plus
