Billing Representative

Job Summary

To enhance billing operations, the full-time remote Billing Representative will process paper and electronic claims, ensure accurate submissions, and collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize payment turnaround.

Key responsibilities:

• Process and submit paper and electronic claims to payers accurately and timely to maximize reimbursement
• Research and communicate changes in payer regulations and make recommendations to improve billing operations
• Work closely with insurance companies and internal teams to enhance the revenue cycle process and quality

Required qualifications:

• Preferred 1 year of experience in healthcare billing, revenue services, or coding
• Medical certification or degree is preferred
