Job Summary

To optimize claim submission operations, the part-time Billing Representative will process paper and electronic claims, ensuring accurate information to maximize reimbursement while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Process and submit paper and electronic claims to payers, ensuring completeness to prevent denials
• Research and communicate regulatory changes affecting billing practices, making recommendations for system improvements
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the revenue cycle process and maintain positive relationships

Required qualifications

• 1 year of experience in healthcare billing, revenue services, or coding
• Medical certification or degree is preferred
