Billing Representative

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Billing Representative will review, validate, and process medical charge entries through Epic and other billing systems, ensuring accurate and timely billing while managing charge review work queues and collaborating with clinical and administrative teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and process charge sessions within Epic for accurate billing
• Resolve charge review, claim edit, and follow-up work queues
• Verify patient insurance benefits and correct billing errors impacting claim submission

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• 1+ years of medical billing or charge entry experience in a healthcare environment
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing processes
• Experience with claims status review and A/R follow-up
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
