Billing Specialist
Job Summary
To support accurate financial reporting and premium disbursements, the full-time remote Billing Specialist will perform routine and complex accounting functions related to Guaranteed Standard Issue (GSI) and individual disability insurance, including payment processing, reconciliation, and customer communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Input and reconcile premium payments in the ID3 system
- Research and process accounting transactions and adjustments
- Manage wire transfers, cash clearing, and inter-company payments
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in accounting preferred
- Minimum 2 years of medical or insurance billing experience
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Strong billing and reconciliation experience
- Advanced spreadsheet and PC skills
