Job Summary
Detail-oriented and technically savvy, the full-time remote Billing Specialist will manage the new and renewal billing process for the Canadian commercial insurance department while providing essential technical support and assisting the Revenue Operations team with various clerical duties.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare Canadian commercial insurance invoices using the Epic agency management system
- Perform data quality checks and provide guidance and status updates to account teams
- Assist with accounting reconciliations and ensure accurate data capture and tax filings
Required qualifications
- Associate/Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience
- Working knowledge of general accounting terms and principles
- General understanding of commercial property and casualty coverages, with Canadian-specific experience preferred
- Experience with Applied Epic is preferred but not required
- Strong numerical reasoning and aptitude skills
