Job Summary
Owning the billing side of the member lifecycle, the part-time contract Billing Specialist will manage invoice questions, resolve disputes, and ensure accurate refunds and credits while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Process refunds and credits in Stripe, ensuring compliance with policies
- Manage member disputes and chargebacks, tracking outcomes and communicating status
- Document recurring billing issues and recommend improvements to policies and processes
Required qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in billing, payments, or customer billing support
- Proficiency in Stripe, including managing subscriptions and chargebacks
- Understanding of complex subscription lifecycle operations
- Experience working in a ticket-based environment (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, Salesforce)
- Ability to manage a high volume of requests in a fast-paced environment
