Job Summary

To support the Revenue Cycle team, the full-time Billing Specialist I will manage billing transactions, verify insurance, and ensure accurate patient records in a hybrid remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Verifies insurance and eligibility for patients, updating accounts with accurate information
• Manages documentation of patient demographics and determines pre-authorization needs for scheduled procedures
• Handles payment posting and communicates necessary updates to staff and patients

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• No previous experience required
• Preferred: One year of experience in a billing office
• Preferred: Knowledge of insurance billing terminology
