Job Summary
To tackle complex billing challenges, the full-time remote Billing Support Specialist will manage assigned payers on the Revenue Cycle Management team, investigate claim denials, and optimize workflows for improved claim outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve complex claim denials while ensuring accurate prioritization of claims
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational trends and enhance revenue cycle efficiency
- Serve as a subject matter expert for payer workflows and assist in onboarding new hires
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare billing, insurance, or medical claims roles
- Comprehensive understanding of insurance policies, claim processing, and appeals procedures
- Thorough knowledge of Denial Language and Carrier CARC Codes
- Expert understanding of the Life Cycle of a Claim
- Intermediate proficiency with Google Sheets/Excel for data management and analysis
