Billing Team Lead

Job Summary

Overseeing the daily operations of the Billing Department, the full-time remote Billing Team Lead will manage a team of billing specialists, ensuring accurate claim submission, timely reimbursement, and regulatory compliance while providing leadership and training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor billing specialists to meet departmental goals and maintain efficient operations
• Ensure accurate submission of claims and monitor for rejections and denials while analyzing billing trends for process improvement
• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and conduct routine audits to ensure billing accuracy and policy adherence

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of healthcare billing experience, with a preference for DME billing
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing
• Strong knowledge of DMEPOS billing guidelines and payer requirements
• Proficiency with billing software, EMR systems, and Microsoft Office applications
