BIM Engineering Technician
Job Summary
Supporting Battery Energy Storage design, the full-time remote BIM Engineering Technician will provide technical 2D and 3D drafting support, create construction drawings using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, and collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure project accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Develop 3D models of Battery Energy Storage System designs and equipment using Autodesk Revit
- Complete design and construction drafting work, including plans, sections, and electrical schematics
- Ensure 3D models are accurate, up to date, and integrated with other project deliverables
Required qualifications
- Two-year technical degree or currently enrolled in Technical Drafting program
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Knowledge of Battery Energy Storage System electrical physical design is beneficial
