Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time BIM/VDC Engineering Specialist will create detailed piping drawings, develop BIM models, and maintain VDC standards while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Create shop drawings for mechanical, civil, and structural systems related to waterworks construction
- Ensure accurate and clear communication of design and drafting concepts on drawings
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to advance global BIM/VDC initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction science, architecture, or a related field with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent education and experience
- Proficiency in creating BIM/VDC models and familiarity with Revit software is highly preferred
- Experience in waterworks systems is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
- Proficiency with Autodesk software and Microsoft Office programs
