Bioinformatics Engineer
Job Summary
Engaging with clients across various technical fields, the full-time remote Bioinformatics Engineer will create robust scientific workflows using Nextflow, develop cloud data infrastructures for processing biological data, and enhance the adoption of Seqera products.
Key responsibilities
- Create and make available reproducible scientific workflows for data analysis and visualization
- Develop and maintain cloud data infrastructures for next-generation sequencing and large datasets
- Engage with customers to understand their requirements and deliver project updates and training
Required qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Nextflow and nf-core pipeline development
- Experience in programming languages such as Groovy, Python, and R
- Familiarity with HPC and public cloud architectures (AWS, Google, Azure)
- In-depth experience with analysis pipelines for various omics data types
- Experience using Git or other version control systems in software development
