Biostatistician II

Job Summary

Providing statistical programming and epidemiologic data analysis support, the part-time Biostatistician II will consult with scientists, maintain survey databases, and assist in drafting manuscripts and grant applications, with flexible work arrangements available including fully remote options.

Key responsibilities

• Provide statistical and epidemiologic data analysis consultation to scientists and develop analysis strategies
• Assist in drafting technical sections of manuscripts and grant applications, particularly focusing on methodology and power estimation
• Maintain archival survey databases, ensuring accurate protocols and documentation are followed

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in Statistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, or related fields with a focus on survey data analysis
• Publication of 1-5 first/sole authored research articles in peer-reviewed journals
• Experience with advanced statistical methods and programming in software such as Stata, SPSS, or R
• Strong analytical skills and ability to tailor analyses to study goals
