Biostatistician (State Licensed)
Job Summary
To support the BIOS Division in the School of Medicine, the full-time Biostatistician (State Licensed) will analyze large-scale longitudinal data, provide statistical expertise, and contribute to research publications while working onsite in Baltimore, MD.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze individual-level data to address scientific questions and prepare data tables and figures for publication
- Develop and document statistical analysis plans, data management protocols, and derived datasets
- Collaborate with data managers to resolve data quality issues and ensure reproducibility of research findings
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative field
- Experience with statistical programming in SAS and R
- Knowledge of observational and longitudinal data analysis
- Familiarity with scientific communication and technical writing
- Understanding of data validation and quality assurance practices
