BMS Controls Engineering Manager

Job Summary

To support the North American division, the full-time salaried BMS Controls Engineering Manager will design, develop, commission, and maintain critical infrastructure control systems for data centers, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with industry standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead BMS contractors and control system integrators throughout project phases
• Establish a vision for BMS systems and develop a comprehensive BMS Playbook for standardization and operational guidance
• Perform inspections and validate project progress, ensuring adherence to specifications and managing incident response for BMS-related issues

Required Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 7+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls programming/installation, project management, and commissioning of data centers
• 3+ years of experience in programming/designing HVAC control systems and Electrical Power Monitoring
• Expertise in common controls communication protocols such as Modbus and BACnet
• Familiarity with BMS, EPMS, SCADA systems, and power distribution systems in critical environments
