BMS Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the design and optimization of Building Management Systems (BMS) for a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, the fully remote contract BMS Engineer will manage HVAC and facility control systems while ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation, and optimization of BMS control systems in pharmaceutical and GMP environments
- Develop and review Sequences of Operation (SOOs) for HVAC and utility systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve BMS-related issues to ensure reliable system operation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Controls, or a related technical discipline preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in BMS, BAS, or Controls Engineering
- Hands-on experience with Johnson Controls Metasys and Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley platforms required
- Experience with commissioning, qualification, and validation activities in regulated environments
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and facility utilities
