BMS Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the design and optimization of Building Management System (BMS) solutions, the fully remote contract BMS Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and regulatory compliance in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and optimization of BMS control systems within pharmaceutical and GMP manufacturing environments
• Develop and review Sequences of Operation (SOOs) for HVAC, mechanical, and utility systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve BMS, controls, and facility automation issues to ensure reliable system operation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Controls, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in BMS, BAS, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Johnson Controls Metasys and Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley platforms required
• Experience with commissioning, qualification, startup, and validation activities in regulated manufacturing environments
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, mechanical equipment, and facility utilities
