Job Summary
Seeking accomplished healthcare leaders, the part-time Member of the Board of Advisors - Bootstrapped Founders will provide strategic guidance, governance, and industry insight to support Healthcare Shares' growth in venture capital and healthcare innovation, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on growth, positioning, partnerships, investment focus, and long-term vision
- Advise on healthcare market trends, emerging opportunities, and founder support
- Contribute leadership insight across various healthcare sectors, including digital health and biotech
Required qualifications
- Significant experience in healthcare, medicine, life sciences, or venture capital
- Preferred senior leadership, board, or advisory experience
- Strong professional network within healthcare and investment ecosystems
- Ability to provide strategic guidance aligned with mission-driven healthcare startups
- Commitment of approximately 2-4 hours per month for board participation
