Job Summary
Seeking accomplished healthcare leaders, the part-time Member of the Board of Advisors - Medical Department Leadership will provide strategic guidance and industry insight to support the growth of a healthcare venture capital platform, working remotely to advise on market opportunities, partnerships, and founder support.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on growth, positioning, partnerships, and long-term vision for Healthcare Shares
- Advise on healthcare market trends, emerging opportunities, and startup evaluation
- Contribute leadership insight across various healthcare sectors, including clinical care, digital health, and biotech
Required qualifications
- Significant experience in healthcare, medicine, life sciences, venture capital, or related fields
- Preferred senior leadership, board, or advisory experience within healthcare or startups
- Strong professional network in healthcare, investment, or innovation ecosystems
- Ability to provide strategic and mission-aligned guidance to support healthcare startups
- Commitment of approximately 2-4 hours per month for board participation and advisory activities
