Board Advisor - Startup Validation

Job Summary

Offering a flexible, remote opportunity, the part-time Member of the Board of Advisors - Startup Validation will provide strategic guidance on growth, market opportunities, and partnerships while supporting healthcare startups and contributing to the mission of advancing healthcare innovation.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide strategic guidance on Healthcare Shares' growth, positioning, partnerships, investment focus, and long-term vision
• Advise on healthcare market trends, emerging opportunities, startup evaluation, founder support, and social impact strategy
• Support Healthcare Shares by offering relevant introductions, perspective, and expertise to strengthen the firm's ecosystem and portfolio support

Required qualifications:

• Significant experience in healthcare, medicine, life sciences, venture capital, startups, or related fields
• Senior leadership, board, advisory, or entrepreneurial experience preferred
• Strong professional network within healthcare, investment, or innovation ecosystems
• Ability to provide strategic, practical, and mission-aligned guidance to support healthcare startups
• Commitment of approximately 2-4 hours per month to board participation and advisory activities
