Job Summary
Seeking a part-time Board Member for Resource Development, this remote position will manage fundraising strategies, advise on long-range financial planning, and ensure active board involvement in resource development efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Recommend proactive strategies for raising financial and other resources for the organization
- Advise the Executive Director on the development of the organization's long-range fundraising strategy
- Ensure legal and ethical program and fundraising practices are in place
Required qualifications
- Deep fundraising expertise with private sector and family philanthropies
- Experience with Donor Advised Funds and individual giving
- Knowledge of emerging funding trends relevant to international public health
- Commitment to advancing health equity and justice for underserved populations
- Preference for individuals from the global south
