Brewery Accountant

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Brewery Accountant, this remote position will manage the monthly close for 7-14 brewery clients, serve as the primary accounting contact, and coordinate with associates on bookkeeping tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process, including reconciliations, payroll, and inventory management
• Serve as the main accounting point of contact for clients, delivering high-level service and support
• Prepare and file sales and excise tax returns for assigned clients

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle, accrual-based accounting experience managing multiple clients or entities
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online; experience with Bill.com is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
• Must be based in the U.S. and legally authorized to work without needing visa sponsorship
• Preferred experience in public firm, outsourced accounting, or familiarity with tools like Square, Toast, or Gusto
