BSA/AML Investigations Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of investigators, the remote BSA/AML Investigations Manager will manage complex and high-risk financial crime investigations across AML, Sanctions, and Fraud domains, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing team capabilities through coaching and training.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the intake, assignment, and resolution of complex investigations, serving as the escalation point for urgent matters
• Directly oversee a team of Complex Investigations Analysts, setting performance expectations and conducting coaching and development
• Review and challenge investigative analyses and SAR determinations to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• CAMS or equivalent AML certification strongly preferred
• 7+ years of experience in BSA/AML, Sanctions, or Fraud investigations, including SAR decisioning
• 2+ years of direct people management experience, focusing on coaching and performance management
• Working knowledge of transaction monitoring systems and watchlist/screening tools
