Job Summary
Leading a team of investigators, the remote BSA/AML Investigations Manager will manage complex and high-risk financial crime investigations across AML, Sanctions, and Fraud domains, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing team capabilities through coaching and training.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the intake, assignment, and resolution of complex investigations, serving as the escalation point for urgent matters
- Directly oversee a team of Complex Investigations Analysts, setting performance expectations and conducting coaching and development
- Review and challenge investigative analyses and SAR determinations to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- CAMS or equivalent AML certification strongly preferred
- 7+ years of experience in BSA/AML, Sanctions, or Fraud investigations, including SAR decisioning
- 2+ years of direct people management experience, focusing on coaching and performance management
- Working knowledge of transaction monitoring systems and watchlist/screening tools
