BTS Operations Architect
Job Summary
Leading the technical vision and architecture for manufacturing site lifecycle initiatives, the full-time BTS Operations Architect will manage IT due diligence, integration strategies, and compliance efforts in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture for IT/OT systems during plant acquisitions, separations, and expansions, ensuring technology readiness and stabilization
- Conduct IT due diligence assessments, evaluating current state inventories and cybersecurity posture for target sites
- Ensure compliance with AbbVie standards and manage cross-site risks while partnering with cross-functional teams for solution delivery
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience, Master's degree with 6 years, or PhD with 2 years in IT systems architecture or related field
- Strong background in manufacturing IT, including plant floor systems and regulatory compliance (GxP, FDA)
- Proven experience leading IT projects for new site builds or plant expansions
- Experience with relevant technology platforms such as MES, ERP, and SCADA
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
