Budget Financial Operations Analyst

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time temporary Service Support Analyst Budget Financial Operations will prepare and process journal vouchers, monitor contract spending, and track fund utilization, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and process journal vouchers to ensure accurate recording of expenditures across funding sources
• Monitor contract spending against budgets and produce regular reports on utilization and variances
• Track fund utilization across state and federal sources, ensuring alignment with appropriated amounts

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in budget analysis, accounting, or financial reporting, preferably in a government or healthcare finance setting
• Proficient in project collaboration and tracking tools, including Microsoft Project Suite and MS Teams
• Experience with tracking fund utilization across state and federal sources
• Familiarity with journal voucher processing and fund accounting procedures
• Prior state government/public sector experience with health and human services programs is preferred
