Job Summary
Providing high-impact technical support for mission-critical CI/CD services, the full-time Build & Release Support Engineer will manage build pipelines, software supply chain workflows, and release tooling while working remotely across specified time zones in North America.
Key responsibilities
- Manage Slack threads and tickets, triaging build failures and configuration errors
- Diagnose complex build and packaging issues independently, providing structured guidance during incidents
- Maintain and refine documentation, creating problem-solution one-pagers for recurring issues
Required qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in Build/Release Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or software development
- Proficiency in Git and GitHub, along with CI/CD tooling expertise (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Strong understanding of Maven, Java build tooling, and software supply chain lifecycle
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid Linux/Unix skills, including scripting in Python or Bash
