Building Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Providing technical oversight for Building Automation Systems, the full-time remote Building Automation Controls Engineer will review engineering deliverables, ensure compliance with specifications, and collaborate with various teams on large-scale facility projects.
Key responsibilities
- Review BAS submittals, controls schematics, and other engineering documentation for quality and compliance
- Support construction and commissioning activities by validating system performance and resolving technical issues
- Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and project stakeholders to address design reviews and field issues
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of Building Automation Systems (BAS) engineering experience
- 5+ years of mission-critical, data center, or critical-facility construction experience
- Hands-on experience with major DDC platforms and BAS/DDC environments
- Strong working knowledge of BACnet and Modbus
- Proficiency with design/documentation tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Visio
