Building Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting a global engineering team, the contract Building Automation Engineer will design, review, and maintain building automation and control systems for hyperscale data centers, working remotely with a focus on critical environmental functions.
Key responsibilities
- Perform detailed technical reviews of Building Automation System (BAS) submittals and engineering deliverables
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve design RFIs and field issues while driving standardized automation designs
- Validate system performance and support construction and commissioning teams through script execution and issue resolution
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Direct Digital Controls (DDC) platforms
- 5+ years of experience in data centers or critical facilities
- Proven expertise in reviewing controls design packages and network architecture diagrams
- Familiarity with major DDC vendor platforms such as Siemens, Johnson Controls, and Honeywell
- Must be located in PST or CST time zones and open to occasional meeting alignment with APAC/Singapore stakeholders
