Building Controls Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the design and implementation of Building Automation Systems (BAS), the remote Building Controls Design Engineer will assist with system configuration, programming, and commissioning tasks while collaborating with senior engineers and project leaders, and is intended for candidates with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with controls engineering tasks including system configuration, programming support, and testing
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver secure and scalable smart building systems
- Contribute to project delivery while building technical expertise in BAS platforms and smart building technologies
Required qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in building automation systems engineering or related technical work
- Working knowledge of Tridium Niagara (N4) framework and compatible platforms
- Basic understanding of open protocol BAS architectures such as BACnet and Modbus
- Ability to support controls design deliverables and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
