Business Analyst

Job Summary

Utilizing information management tools, the full-time Business Analyst will uncover root causes of data governance issues, collaborate with internal users and clients to resolve these issues, and establish data governance metrics while working onsite in Chicago.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and resolve data governance issues by collaborating with internal business users and data owners
• Create baselines for periodic data governance reviews and audits, defining governance requirements for data elements
• Engage with 3rd party vendors and internal teams to improve data management systems and establish governance metrics

Required qualifications

• Experience with information management tools and data governance practices
• Strong background in data sourcing processes, including ETL
• Ability to articulate the benefits of data governance to various stakeholders
• Proven track record of improving data management systems and processes
• Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams
