Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support the successful migration of insurance data, the full-time Business Analyst will manage data accuracy and integrity while collaborating with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to transition data from legacy systems to the Applied EPIC platform.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with vendors to extract data from multiple source systems and analyze legacy systems for data structures and business rules
- Translate legacy data into target system formats, ensuring compliance and accuracy throughout the conversion process
- Lead data conversion meetings, validate migrated data, and provide post-migration support to resolve any data-related issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in data migration or business analysis within the insurance industry
- Knowledge of insurance data domains, ACORD forms, and insurance data standards
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders
