Business Analyst for Data Science

Job Summary

To support the Data Science department, the full-time remote Business Analyst for Data Science will manage requirements and process management, build and maintain dashboards for data science model portfolios, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration between technical teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Bring structure to data science and analytics teams' Jira boards, reducing administrative burdens
• Build and maintain dashboards that track data science models, their status, and upcoming work
• Serve as a key point of contact between department leadership and data science/analytics teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager in a technical environment
• Proficiency with Jira for requirements gathering and backlog management
• Experience with dashboard/reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI
• General understanding of data science/model concepts to translate technical status into business updates
