Business Analyst Freight Audit

Job Summary

Supporting assigned customers in transportation and logistics operations, the full-time Business Analyst, Freight Audit will manage customer relationships, validate freight audit reports, and analyze freight costs while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned FAP customer relationships, communication cadences, commitments, and documentation
• Review and validate freight audit reports, invoice exceptions, carrier activity, and transportation spend
• Analyze freight costs, accessorial charges, carrier performance, and potential savings opportunities

Required qualifications

• Experience managing customer relationships and investigating discrepancies to root cause
• Strong understanding of freight invoicing, rates, accessorial charges, fuel surcharges, and NMFC classification
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and large invoice datasets
• Professional experience in transportation, logistics, FAP, 3PL, or related freight environments
• Ability to manage multiple customer accounts while collaborating with operational, technical, and financial teams
