Business Analyst III
Job Summary
Supporting business initiatives through data analysis, the full-time remote Business Analyst III will perform detailed analysis on healthcare encounters and EDI transactions, identify user requirements, and recommend solutions to improve existing processes.
Key responsibilities
- Support business initiatives through data analysis, implementation barrier identification, and user acceptance testing
- Analyze user requirements and existing processes to recommend improvements and ensure successful project implementations
- Coordinate with various departments to develop and deliver training programs and enhance performance management reports
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of business process analysis experience in the healthcare industry or 3+ years of managed care encounters experience
- Experience with healthcare encounters or claims business analysis, preferably in managed care or Medicaid
- Strong SQL writing and query development skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA transactions and experience with claims systems like Amisys preferred
