Job Summary
To support a federal agency, the fully remote Business Analyst / QA Analyst will elicit and document requirements, maintain backlogs, and execute various testing types including functional, regression, and accessibility testing across grants management and data applications.
Key responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for application processing and reporting backlogs
- Maintain D&E backlogs in JIRA by writing user stories, grooming items, and tracking backlog aging
- Develop and execute test plans and cases, coordinating user acceptance testing and ensuring compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Three or more years of experience in business analysis and software QA/testing within an Agile SDLC
- Experience with Section 508 / WCAG accessibility testing and preparing VPATs/ACRs
- Proficiency in JIRA, Microsoft Visio or Lucidchart, and SQL querying
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident, or valid work-visa holder, able to obtain a Public Trust background investigation
