Business Architect
Job Summary
To support business needs through technology solutions, the part-time contract Business Architect will lead discovery sessions, design scalable architectures, and produce technical documentation while collaborating with stakeholders in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions to transform business needs into architecture proposals and technical roadmaps
- Design solutions for high-volume data workloads, ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness
- Assess the technology landscape and propose modernization plans while maintaining architecture documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in technical leadership or solution architecture
- Experience with backend architecture using .NET or an equivalent enterprise stack
- Cloud architecture experience on Azure, including app services and databases
- Strong ability to document architecture and justify decisions to clients
