Business Architect
Job Summary
To support business needs with scalable technology solutions, the part-time contract Business Architect will lead discovery sessions, design architecture proposals, and assess technology landscapes while working remotely for 22 hours per week over an initial three-month period.
Key responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions to translate business needs into architecture proposals and technical roadmaps
- Design solutions for high-volume data workloads, ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness
- Produce and maintain architecture documentation, including solution diagrams and technical specifications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 2+ years in technical leadership or solution architecture
- Strong architecture experience with .NET and Azure
- Proven ability to design distributed, service-oriented solutions and document architectural decisions
- Experience with CI/CD practices and Agile methodologies
